Overall

• De-clutter and pre-pack as many personal items as possible

• De-personalize any areas as much as possible, including removing family photos, and any personalized art

• For bathrooms - we recommend having them be completely empty, with minimal décor and personal items like trash cans, rugs, etc. tucked away

• Remove all signs of your pet throughout the home (beds, leashes, bowls, etc.)

  
  

Entry + Dining

• Reduce contents of bookshelves by 50%

  • Turn books around so pages face out and offer a more neutral look

• Play with orientation of chairs/sitting area

• Remove everything from dining table except for small plant centerpiece

• If you’re looking to fill the wall behind the dining table we would recommend this mirror

Kitchen

• Remove everything from kitchen countertops

• Leave pots and pans in their hangers

• Remove family photos from above kitchen area

Living Room

• Remove ottoman from sofa area

• Reduce contents of bookshelves and turn books around for a more neutral look

Basement Area

• Remove walking treadmill

• Purchase white quilt for bed area

• Remove rug and any extra items

  Primary Bedroom

• Clear contents of dresser and nightstands

• Hang mirror in the area we showed you in our walkthrough

  Office Bedroom

• Center desk on wall

• Move shelving unit to other corner of room

• Completely clear desk surface

  Secondary Bedroom

• Consider adding a white quilt to brighten things

• Replace closet doors

• Move art slightly lower

  Patio Spaces

• Move two outdoor accent chairs to front patio

• Move grill to the wall space outside the sliding door
