Hi Bob,
It was so nice meeting you all! Below is a list of all the edits we discussed during the consultation so they have a comprehensive list from which to work. Feel free to text/call me (614-638-2169) with any questions as they’re working through everything.
Thanks!
Kate
Overall
- Pre-pack as many personal items as possible
- De-personalize any areas as much as possible, including removing personal photos and anything religious or political in nature
- For bathrooms - we recommend having them be completely empty, with minimal décor and personal items like trash cans, rugs, etc. tucked away.
- Remove all signs of pets throughout the home (beds, litter box, bowls, etc.)
Living Room
- Place a piece of art or a mirror on the mantle; Remove all the extra decor
- Remove the art from the walls on either side of the fireplace

- Place the cowhide below the coffee table with the sofa and chairs touching it as well
- Remove the trailing ivy plant that’s on the stairs or at least trim it to ensure the pretty woodwork shows
- Hang the art that’s currently leaned on the console table
- Remove the curtains from the high windows and replace the lower front ones with white ones - Kitchen + Dining
- Remove everything from the dining table and place the bowl we discussed in the middle
- Remove the curtains and blinds
- Remove everything from the counters except for 2-3 items to show the ample counterspace
- Pre-pack about 50% of the glassware in the cabinets with windows
- Mudroom: pre-pack some of the boots and coats
First Floor Bedrooms
- Position these as bedrooms by adding a bed and nightstand to each space
- If you don’t have a headboard, simply hang a piece of art above the bed to serve as a focal point
