Overall

• Remove family photos and any wall décor that includes your family’s name

• Make sure all evidence of pets is removed and/or tucked away

• Pre-pack as many of your personal items as possible

• Anything remaining in closets/cabinets should be as neat and tidy looking as possible

• Remove all signs of pets wherever possible

• Remove all smaller area rugs from the halls/entryways

Main Floor Living Room

• Remove pictures and wall decor

• Remove blankets and furniture coverings

Kitchen / Dining

• Completely clear kitchen table

• Completely clear countertops and surfaces

Secondary Bedroom - Main Floor

• Remove everything but the bed and rug

• If possible, purchase some inexpensive white bedding

Primary Bedroom

• Remove everything except bed and rug

• If possible purchase some inexpensive white bedding

Bathrooms

• Tuck away all personal items, including toiletries/towels you use regularly

• Remove all rugs and bath mats

• Completely clear off all surfaces

• If possible add a small potted plant to the bathrooms

• Consider getting some new, white towels to give the feeling of a hotel

Downstairs Living

• Remove fitness equipment

• Remove coverings from sofa and extra personal items

• Pre-pack as much from storage closet as possible
  

Downstairs Bedroom

• Remove everything except the bed and nightstands

• If possible purchase some inexpensive white bedding
