Overall

• Remove family photos and any wall decor that includes names or sayings

• Pack away all extra kid items

• Make sure all evidence of pets is removed and/or tucked away

• Pre-pack as many of your personal items as possible

• Anything remaining in closets/cabinets should be as neat and tidy looking as possible

Front Living Room

• Remove the piece to the right of the fireplace and move the sofa over so it’s centered under the window

• Utilize the bench we placed as a coffee table

Dining Room

• Remove all packing items

• Place mirror above console table

• Style the bar with some wine/bar glasses

Bathrooms

• Tuck away all personal items, including toiletries/towels you use regularly

• Remove all rugs and bath mats

• Completely clear off all surfaces

• If possible add a small potted plant to the bathrooms

• Consider getting some new, white towels to give the feeling of a hotel

Kitchen

• Clear everything off the clear magnetic board

• Take everything off the refrigerator

• Clear off all surfaces with the exception of:

• Fruit holder (with a uniform color in it - ie. green apples, limes, lemons, etc.)

• Utensil holder

• Plants
  

Living Room

• Pull sofa, coffee table and side table in closer to the fireplace like we discussed

• Remove chair/ottoman

• Leave only the plant on the shelf above the TV and 1-2 items on each of the shelves on the sides of the entertainment center

• Remove family photos from above the piano and replace with one of the wall decor recos from below

• Clear off shelves from the blue built-in and leave only 1-2 items per shelf (no family photos though)

Office

• Move desk back into the corner

• Simplify the shelf decor — consider leaving about 30 % of the books currently there and placing the books with the pages facing out

• Face the hanging chairs on the deck outside the office facing out

Basement

• Place the Peloton facing the windows and the weights over by the mirror (on the left side)

• Use the rug from upstairs for basement living area and place the sofas across from each other with the ottoman in between

• Leave the air hockey table where it is

• Set up the kids rock climbing toy in the area behind the stairs

• Tidy up and organize as much as possible in the storage area

• Set up the bedroom with the bed from upstairs (utilizing a bed base) and place the set of drawers in the nook

Primary Bedroom

• Hang the big piece of art above the bed

• Clear off nightstands so only the lamps are remaining

• Move the wicker chest to the end of the bed

• Either remove the console table or hang a mirror above it

• Remove all fans/humidifiers/etc

• Store the TV and TV stand in the basement and place a plant next to the sauna

Kids Rooms

• Simplify wherever possible (removing chairs, bookshelves dressers, etc.)

• Make sure all decor with kids names is removed

• Move the crib to the far wall in the nursery and place the dresser on the wall where the crib is currently
