Overall

• Remove family photos and any wall décor that includes your family’s name

• Make sure all evidence of pets is removed and/or tucked away

• Pre-pack as many of your personal items as possible

• Anything remaining in closets/cabinets should be as neat and tidy looking as possible

Main Floor Living Room

• Remove picture from above the couch

• If possible, remove the TV/entertainment center

• Remove rug

• Remove dog bed

• Remove table that’s between the couch and the shelves

• Move the round table with the plant on it to the corner (under the two windows)

• Remove everything from the mantle

• Move lamp from this living room to the lower living room

Kitchen / Dining

• Completely clear kitchen table

• Completely clear countertops and surfaces except for the flour and sugar canisters and the kitchen tool holder

• Remove everything from the top of the cabinets

• Remove dog bowls

• Remove trash can

• Remove high chair

• Extra credit: Pre-pack and organize as much as possible inside the cabinets and refrigerator

Lower Living Room

• Place the lamp from the upstairs living room in the corner

• Remove totes

• Place one of the plants on the bookshelves to highlight the feature wall

Downstairs Bedroom

• Center the bed on the wall under the window

• Remove all the boxes/shoes

Primary Bedroom

• Remove one of the dressers

• Place the crib on the wall between the door and the bathroom (where the dresser was)

• Hang art above the bed

• Purchase a white comforter

• Remove flowers from the wall

• Move nightstand next to bed

Bathrooms

• Tuck away all personal items, including toiletries/towels you use regularly

• Remove all rugs and bath mats

• Completely clear off all surfaces

• Move one of the small plants from the living room to each of the bathrooms

• Consider getting some new, white towels to give the feeling of a hotel

• Replace shower curtains with plain white ones

Kids Bedroom

• Remove one of the dressers

• Remove wall decals, kids art and anything that includes their names
  

Bonus Room

• Remove dog cages

• Clear out all extra items in the room leaving only the pool table

Garage

• Organize/tidy up

• Remove any art that could be polarizing
