Overall

• Remove family photos or any personal items from the common areas

• We always recommend a professional pre-listing cleaning service as well as having any carpeted areas professionally cleaned

• Make sure to open any curtains/window coverings completely and let in as much natural light as possible

• Make sure all evidence of pets is removed and/or tucked away

• Pre-pack as much as possible

• Anything remaining in closets/cabinets should be as neat and tidy looking as possible

• Remove décor/personal items from stairway landings per our discussion

Living Room

• Remove everything but the following items:

  • Sofa

  • Console + décor behind sofa

  • Art

  • 1-2 decor items per built in shelves

  • Coffee Table

  • Rug

Kitchen/Dining

• Completely clear countertops

• Remove built-in cat accessories

• Remove fitness equipment

• Move small dinette from living room into the dining space

• Remove rugs

• Completely clear patio area

Bathrooms

• Tuck away all personal items, including toiletries/towels you use regularly

• Remove all rugs and bath mats

• Completely clear off all surfaces

• If possible add a small potted plant to the bathrooms

Primary Bedroom

• Remove pet beds/accessories

• Remove first upright dresser on the left side of the room when you walk in

• Completely clear surfaces/remove as many personal items as possible

• Pre-pack as much of primary closet as possible

• Bring in a potted plant from lower level for on top of one of the dressers

• If possible, display white bedding we discussed

  
  

Secondary Bedroom

• Display white bedding

• Completely clear surfaces as much as possible

• Remove signs of pets

• Remove small bookshelf near bathroom entry

Basement

• Based on our conversation regarding the layout, it is our recommendation that you completely clear the lower area and leave it vacant

Front Patio

• Clear out any personal items

• Neatly coil hose

• Remove sign from front door
