Overall

• Pre-pack as many of your personal items as possible

• Anything remaining in closets/cabinets should be as neat and tidy looking as possible

• Remove any art/décor with anything religious, political or personal (i.e. family photos)

• Remove any small area rugs that break up the floor space

Main Floor Living Room

• Move sofa so it’s perpendicular on the right side of the coffee table

• Re-orient coffee table/chair per our discussion

• Bring additional chair up from basement

• Remove round dining table from corner of room

• Extra credit - purchase a round mirror and mount it above the fireplace. This one is in-stock in Longmont

Main Floor Office/Flex Room

• Remove any personal items

• De-clutter wherever possible

• Place large plants on either side of window

• Remove keyboard

Dining Room

• Remove table extension so it seats six and stash the two extra dining chairs

Kitchen

• Remove everything from counter spaces

• Clear any personal items

• Remove one counter stool and stash it away

Primary Bedroom + Bathroom

• Remove personal items (books, humidifier, family photos)

• Place trailing plant in shower per our discussion

• Remove al personal items from the bathroom areas

• Tuck away bath mats

• Add plant in place of the large vase in the tub area

Second Floor Additional Bedroom

• Rotate bed and center on the blue wall

• Move nightstands to either side of the bed

• Remove personal items/photos/art

• Remove excess furniture in corner near the desk

• Center desk on window and clear the surface of the desk

• Turn books in book shelf around so the pages face outward and clear knick-knacks

Basement Living Room

• Play with orientation of the living room per our discussion

• Remove crates in corner near the TV and center TV and console on that wall

• Clear coffee table - leaving a few games underneath

Basement Office

• Clear personal items and de-clutter as much as possible

• Remove or tuck away filing cabinet and any excess furniture where possible

Main Entry

• Bring in brightly colored mums for next to door and on stairs to highlight this as a main entry

• Purchase a new/neutral doormat

• Hang a fall wreath on nail to the right of the front door

• Clear personal items from interior entry (coats, shoes, etc.)

Deck

• Bring outdoor dining out of garage and position it outside of the dining room sliding door

  • We would also recommend a neutral outdoor centerpiece. At Home has some great faux plants for this purpose.

• Purchase small seating vignette for other side of deck (two chairs and a side table) and face towards the mountains

• Bring brass buckets out of garage and position in the corner between the two zones and fill with mums
